september thursdays

tagged along to a company workshop this afternoon - somewhere up on the east coast of england near towns named - yoxford (y'ox's ford), kessington (kessing's ton (farm)), great yarmouth (mouth of the river yare).... and probably closer to holland than london.

at 4, 30 when we stumbled out of some regional office, my director and i ended up on the seashore, staring at gulls, surfboards, grass dunes and a gorgeous september evening. there was no heading back straight to london then, and we dragged it out into a nice drive and a pint, laughing in the wind.

so i'm left staying up, finishing tomorrow's powerpoint, and waiting for my brother to bus in from stansted on the last flight.
